Support > Mac Stuff >Recording Soundsetter "what u hear" on Mac
A handy feature in the PC world particularly used in the old Creative-Labs centric days - was the ability to recording whatever sound your PC was producing - from error message, to audio files etc - proving particularly useful when capturing Soundsetter for playback..
We're going to try this on a Mac (intel osx 10.6.3).
- Download and Install a copy of Audio Hijack Pro. This software let's you capture all audio output from your system and saves automatically. A little confusing to use at first - but a real cool tool for the Mac. The free version limits you to 10 minutes of recording at once - plenty for our purposes - but no harm in purchasing...
- Launch Soundsetter - select sounds to record (or could even be iTunes for that matter).
- Launch Audio Hijack Pro downloaded and installed above. Choose the "System Audio" from the left column. This sets the app up to record all audio produced by the system. (see below)

- Click Record on the upper right hand section.
- Selecting the Recording Bin in the upper left, shows a list of recordings - double click to listen.
- These files are saved by default in your Music directory in a folder Audio Hijack
