The ePiano™ Core Software bundle is the most economical means to turn your laptop or PC into a music workstation. It includes our 6 "core" music software application that applications that cost over $400 (actually $458) if purchased separately. These are full version programs, and includes 30 days of expert phone support. You'll get a suite of software that covers a range of everyday music making needs and functions.
Ideal for laptops, or when you've already got the hardware* to produce the General MIDI sounds (if you don't know if you have this - consider the Soft-n-Sound, or a Schoolmate System). If you've got the all the hardware - just get the Core Software and you'll be ready to Play, Learn and Create.
*Notes on Sound Hardware: We recommend a sound source (soundcard, external sound module, or external keyboard) capable of playing the General Midi (GM) sounds in real time. Many portable keyboards are GM capable and ready - some even have a USB interface built in. The standard PC laptop has a soundset called "GM Wavetable Synthesis" that can provide a mid-to-low fidelity sound source and may meet user needs - although it typically has a "latency" that will cause a sometimes intolerable short delay between playing a key - and actually hearing the sound of the played key.
