Situation: If I copy midi files to the hard drive of one piano, can I transfer to the other or do I need to copy again to the 2nd piano?

Solution: Create a shared music folder in you’re My Music folder. A great way to share music files between two or more systems (assuming you have the rights to do so) is to set up a network to share files between computers—without having to load them separately onto each computer.

  • Click on the My Music (or Music Library) system button on the bottom of the MusiConsole screen.
  • From the top menu bar choose <File>, then <New>, then <Folder>
  • Type in the whatever name you’d like for this new folder, press Enter key
  • Right click on this folder, and choose <Sharing and Security>
  • Make the selections on this folder that will allow the other computers on the network to access this folder. If you want other users to be able to add to or change these files (including things like saving Home Concert track modifications), you’ll need click the box that allows other users to change the files.
